What is Gimmiko?

Gimmiko is a really fast-paced roguelike game from SorryPoniko! and published by Critical Reflex. Players fight monsters from different cultures by throwing magic dice at them, every dice has "gimmicks" and when that side is rolled, the gimmick within is casted, it can also refer to the young temple maiden named "Gimmiko"

News are sorted by the brackets, [CULTURE] refers to the fandom, [IMPORTANT] refers to trailers and releases, [ANNOUNCEMENTS] are things Zizou says, AND [MISCELLANEOUS] is for vaguely gimmiko stuff that doesn't fit any other description

Unknown Day of May, 2026 [MISCELLANEOUS]: Demonscrest, a website approved by the author of Gimmiko, has released a game review on the full game's minigame about DIE HARD as if it was a full game, it's potentially a shitpost, but the images seem to be screenshots from the full game, revealing things such as the ability to talk to other characters, 4 levels including a "learning" level (which aligns with the demo's minigame having 4 levels) and... urinals?? the images are severely compressed to give off the shitty vibe the website has, and i severely recommend not trusting whatever it says in the text, as the in-universe writer for the page starts rambling about a lady in bikini with big boobs or whatever, the graphics seem legit though (although this might be an elaborate red herring from Zizou and his friends), nonetheless this is the first scrap of content relating to Gimmiko that flavoredLunacy could ever document here, you can read the original article HERE, see ya later?
